This was a nice and relaxing painting to do. The actual painting is more blue than purple. I thought the tone looked more purple to me than blue. When I looked at the paints, there were more blues than purples. The paints were nice, some great, some good, some so so and consistency was icky. Overall nice painting.This painting was fun. There are positives and negatives to this kit. Let me start with the positives.1) the canvas came rolled, many I’ve done have come folded and creased. This one was rolled and has no creases.2) challenging, small areas kept me busy for awhile3) fun to do and looks nice when completedNow for the negatives (and the reason for my choice in rating)1) I’ve done several paint by numbers and for the first time ever, I ran out of paint. I ran out of black paint, fortunately I had some left from another paint by number I used.2) some of the colors, particularly the white and other light colors were thinner and didn’t cover the numbers well. I tried doing a few coats but you can still see the numbers.3) though the finished picture is nice, it doesn’t look anything like the represented photo. I expected this so it didn’t bother me too much. It’s good for customers to know what they are getting though and would be better to have a more realistic presentation photo.Overall, this piece was fun and I’m happy with the finished product. But it’s not my favorite.I just want to say that of you purchase this item I hope you have a lot of patience. I for one do and especially during this pandemic. With nothing much to do at home having something so creative can really set your mind right and give you break from thing about Covid-19 or anything crazy going on right now. I can't wait to purchase a frame and hang in my room!!!Just received this item and I will update as I go. Didn't like that the canvas came rolled in a very tight roll which creased it some but it can be stretched flat with some clips. I didn't wish to iron the back lightly as others suggested. The numbers are small but clear. If you have bad eyes I do not recommend this project. I like the fact there's a duplicate on paper for reference if you accidentally paint over something wrong. The paint is thick but workable. The brushes are very soft so I did go buy different brushes that would hold the fine point for the super tiny spots better.This is good for someone who wants an easy paint by number. This is my third one I have done and it was the easiest by far. I just started my 4th painting and it is WAY more detailed. What I was not happy about was the colors didn't match the picture you see and the paint was a little too thick. I had to add water which helped ( it says not to add water). I also had to go over the numbers and lines two or three times on some colors to hide them. But overall, I enjoyed painting it.wasn't very close to the image in the picture...could be betterI bought this and sent it to my sister, she is the painter and a very experienced one. Here are frustrations she has told me: 1- the canvas bleeds the paint 2- the lines are blurred and running through other painting lines 3- arrived folded in a very small puffy mailing envelope. 4-These folds make it excruciatingly difficult to paint; packing it in a tube or even much larger envelope would easily fix that 5- The brush that came with the canvas is a joke; thankfully she has her own fine collection, but had to go buy four more for its teeny spaces. 6-She wears glasses, but has to use 3 other magnifiers! Hope this helps in your decision NOT to purchase. Sis gives it 3 stars because it is a lovely painting.It’s a Beautiful Painting however it is very hard to read the numbers. You hardly can’t see the numbers, they are so lightly written you can’t make some of them out. Also some spaces are actually missing the numbers. I also wished it would have come better packaged. The foam that was suppose to prevent it from getting too wrinkled was so thin that my whole canvas came very wrinkled.
