I bought these for shellac finish on wood projects. Fresh shellac dries in 15 minutes so quickly applied makes for a smooth coat. These brushes ( Paul Sellaers uses one in his videos) apply smoothly and quickly without loosing fibres in the finish. They hold plenty of product without dripping and allow the user to coat a project in greater area than cheap paint brushes. I'm pretty sure these are made for artists but work great for wood workers.
